Teen arrested in Rockford for car burglaries; tools and stolen items found
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Danarion Jonavonmichael Murphy, 18, has been arrested after burglarizing cars in Rockford on Sunday morning.

According to Rockford Police, officers were called to the 600 block of Shaw Street, where a man was seen attempting to open car doors on multiple vehicles.

When police arrived on the scene, Murphy, who was sitting in the driver’s seat of a car, got out and started walking away. He was detained, and burglary tools and stolen property were found in his possession, authorities said.

Murphy was charged with Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle, Possession of Burglary Tools, and an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
