PLAQUEMINES PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A weekend of “live music, delicious seafood, family fun and more” will return with the 21st Annual Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival.

The 2025 event will happen from April 25-27 bringing a celebration of local seafood culture and community to the festival grounds, according to festival officials.

For 21 years, the Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival has celebrated the heart and soul of our community—our people, our culture, and our world-class seafood. Each year, we strive to make it even better, bringing together incredible food, live music, and family-friendly fun. We invite everyone to join us for a weekend that truly showcases what makes Plaquemines Parish special.

Festival officials said fest-goers will have the chance to enjoy a variety of fresh seafood prepped by local restaurants, live music, carnival rides, local artisan crafts and a Oyster Drop Raffle.

The event kicks off on Friday, April 25 with a 5k race at 5 p.m.
