Two in custody after shooting in Owensboro left two injured

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Following a shooting in Owensboro that left two people injured, two people are facing assault charges.

As previously reported, the shooting happened on Friday night in the 1000 block of West 5th Street and officers were notified two people were in the hospital with gunshot wounds.

The investigation led to the arrest of 18-year-old Isaiah Jackson and a 15-year-old juvenile.

Jackson was charged with assault and was booked in the Daviess County Detention Center.

The juvenile was charged with assault and possession of a handgun by a minor. They were booked in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center in Bowling Green.
