The Beavs came out swinging, scoring 2 runs right off the bat and setting the tone early on. Gavin Turley hit a two-run home, giving OSU the early 2-0 lead.
After a strong start, the Anteaters slowly began chipping away at the lead. They finally getting on the board in the 5th and 7th thanks to Will Bermudez who drove in single runs in each inning, tying the score at 2-2.
But Oregon State wasn’t done yet, Jacob Krieg hit a home run in the bottom of the 7th and AJ Singer homered in the 8th to seal the deal at 4-2.
Oregon State gets a much needed victory and ties the series at 1-1 going into the final game on Sunday at 12:05 p.m in Corvallis.
