Norfork officials ask residents, visitors to be prepared for possible evacuations

Officials in Norfork are keeping tabs of the White and North Fork rivers due to the rain that has already fallen and the additional precipitation that is expected. Mayor Lisa Harrison is asking residents and visitors of the city to take any necessary precautions to be prepared if evacuations become necessary.





In case of flooding and evacuations, various locations will be used for shelter. For additional information, contact the city of Norfork at 870-499-5225.
