JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Six people were rescued from high waters in Johnson County.
The W.R. Castle Fire & Rescue team said first responders went door-to-door, checking on people in the Silk Stocking Loop area, when they found six people inside homes that were surrounded by rising floodwaters.
Several areas in the region are reporting high floodwater, and officials are urging people not to drive on the current road conditions.
