Storm causes damage in Delaware County

(WPHL)– An overnight and early morning storm has caused severe damage in Media, Pennsylvania, and across the Delaware County area.

The storm caused high power outage numbers, making Delaware County the most affected area.

Power outage numbers as of 12 p.m.:

  • PECO – 3,349
  • PPL – 369
  • Delmarva – 49
  • PSE&G – 380
  • AC Electric – 492

At peak times, PECO reported nearly 6,000 customers without power.

PHL17 was on the scene in Media, Pennsylvania, where the storm left behind downed trees, power outages, and significant property destruction.
