A Tornado Watch is in effect until midnight on April 3. Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop primarily over the northern half of the ArkLaTex on Wednesday afternoon and evening. While the tornado watch is in effect, residents are advised to stay away from windows and seek a safe area in their homes.
SWPCO reports 52 power outages. In the Broadmoor area, 209 customers are reported without power. At 4:44 p.m., SWEPCO reported assessing the conditions due to “tree contact.”
