BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Officials are investigating after human remains were found in a black garbage bag along a road in Utah.
The remains were discovered by a construction crew around the area of 2600 West Highway 13, according to the Brigham City Police Department. The contents were initially believed to be trash, but then “hair and bones” were discovered.
“Officers responded to the area and confirmed that the contents of the bag were human,” police said in a press release. “Currently, the Brigham City Police Department is investigating this incident as a homicide.”

A homicide investigation is underway, and the remains are being considered suspicious by Brigham City PD and have not yet been identified.
