According to a news release from the Indiana State Police, detectives with the Putnamville State Police Post were contacted by “several residents” near the 400 block of Manhattan Road about a man being nude in public.
The release said that the Greencastle man was publicly nude and was seen by adults and children.
The 55-year-old was charged in Putnam County on two counts of public nudity, each a Class B misdemeanor. The man was arrested on March 31 and was taken to the Putnam County Jail.
The man has since posted a $1,000 bond and has been released. His initial hearing is scheduled for late April in Putnam County.
