CISCO, Texas — Cisco Independent School District will operate on a delayed schedule Thursday, April 3, due to a power outage caused by severe weather.
Classes will begin at 10 a.m., and bus routes will run on a two-hour delay, district officials announced.

Through 8 am we are under a severe thunderstorm watch including Eastland county. We will keep the cloud cover for a majority of today only chipping away at the clouds by later this evening allowing temperatures to climb into the low 60’s and 70’s. Rain and storm chances continue overnight with an additional round of storms building past midnight. A slight chance for strong to severe storms is expected tonight into tomorrow night with an additional threat for flooding through the end of the week.
