Symphony on the Prairie announces 2025 lineup

INDIANAPOLIS — Legendary tributes, world-class performers and the Star-Spangled Symphony are just some of the things that the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will feature in its 2025 Kroger Symphony on the Prairie season.

Tickets for the season go on sale at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. All concerts will be hosted at the Conner Prairie Amphitheater in Fishers from June 27 through Labor Day weekend, consisting of 10 weekends of live music and 21 performances.

According to a news release surrounding the announcement of the 2025 season, 11 of the season’s concerts will feature the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Other concerts will feature tribute acts, including ones that celebrate Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Jimmy Buffett and the Grateful Dead.

The season’s schedule includes:

  • June 27: Tusk: The Classic Fleetwood Mac Tribute
  • June 28: Arrival from Sweden: The Music of ABBA
  • July 3-5: Star-Spangled Symphony (Alfred Savia, conductor; Byron Stripling, vocals/trumpet)
  • July 11-12: Disney in Concert: Once Upon a Time (Jack Everly, conductor)
  • July 18-19: John Williams + Friends (Jack Everly, conductor)
  • July 25: The Greatest Love of All: A Tribute to Whitney Houston (Enrico Lopez-Yañez, conductor)
  • July 26: EagleMania (Enrico Lopez-Yañez, conductor)
  • Aug. 1-2: Let’s Sing Taylor (An unofficial live tribute band)
  • Aug. 8: Dark Star Orchestra (Grateful Dead Tribute)
  • Aug. 9: Face2Face: A Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John
  • Aug. 15: One Night of Queen starring Gary Mullen and the Works
  • Aug. 16: The Fab Four: The Ultimate Tribute
  • Aug. 22: Neil Forever: The Music of Neil Diamond
  • Aug. 23: A1A: The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show
  • Aug. 29: Invincible: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Show
  • Aug. 30: Voyage: Celebrating the Music of Journey

The website said that the gates for the shows open at 6 p.m. and most of the concerts will begin at 8 p.m. The Dark Star Orchestra concert on Aug. 8 will begin at 7 p.m.
