Snow showers were off and on in both the valleys and the mountains during the day. Snow showers will continue across northern Utah off and on through Tuesday afternoon. A secondary wave moves into the area late Tuesday night through Wednesday, bringing one more round of possible light accumulating snow.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for our northern mountains. The upper Cottonwoods are expecting anywhere from 12-24″ of snow, with most northern mountains looking at 6-12″ on average.
The Wasatch Back will generally be seeing around 2-6″ while Park City could see over 6″. The east Benches could see 1-4″, while the Wasatch Front Valleys could see a tr.- 2″.
Beyond Wednesday, the overall pattern is for drier and warmer conditions. Highs will warm into the upper 50s to low 60s across the Wasatch Front this weekend, with highs in the 70s for southwest Utah. Things will dry out by late week, leading to mostly sunny and comfy conditions for our weekend outlook.
