Jordan Grocery was destroyed by a fire early Tuesday morning. No injuries were reported from the blaze.

According to Rodney Jordan Fire Chief John Forman, personnel were paged just after midnight to the gas station at the corner of Arkansas Highway 177 and Jordan Road. In addition to the building being a total loss, the fire burned a power line, and several North Arkansas Electric Cooperative members were without power. Power has since been restored

Personnel were on the scene for nearly 3 1/2 hours. Rodney Jordan was assisted by the Salesville, Norfork and Pineville fire departments.

Chief Forman says he will be meeting with the fire investigator later Tuesday morning as they work to determine the cause. Tune in to KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot as the story develops.
