By rssfeeds-admin Bittle has played four seasons with the Ducks and has been a major part of their success averaging 14.2 points per game, 7.6 rebounds, and shooting just over 51% from the field. He is one of five finalists for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award given to the best center in college basketball.
The Ducks season came to an end after a narrow loss to Arizona in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Bittle missed a large part of the 2023-24 season with both an injury and unknown illness which allowed him to receive an extra season of eligibility from the NCAA. This means that the door is still open for a potential return to the Oregon basketball program.
He will likely attend the NBA combine to show off his skills in front of scouts and get feedback before making a final decision on his future. However, he would need to decide by the end of May in order to have the option to return to college.
The NBA Combine starts on May 11 and the NBA Draft is set to take place on June 25.
Bittle was named a five-star recruit by 247Sports and ESPN. He was also a 2021 McDonald’s All-American, Jordan Brand Classic and Nike Hoop Summit team member.
