Visitors to the show will also be able to view Vitec’s upgrades to its MGW Diamond-H encoder, ChannelLink, Diamond C10 chassis, EP6 and PRISM transcoder.
“The Diamond C1 chassis works in conjunction with our Vitec OG streaming cards to create an intuitive, flexible and dependable video contribution solution” says Bryan Reksten, Vitec VP of marketing. “This launch, alongside our latest product upgrades, highlights our ongoing commitment to innovation and delivering indispensable market-leading tools to empower our partners.”
Designed for broadcast and media professionals, the Diamond C1 enables users “to integrate MGW Diamond encoder or Ace Decoder OG cards within both desktop and rack-mounted environments, for delivery of high-quality video content to any screen, anywhere, with confidence. Featuring a modular design, dual redundant power supplies, and real-time monitoring capabilities, Diamond C1 suits applications including broadcast, remote, multi-site and multi-channel broadcast contribution, as well as IPTV distribution and streaming to computers, TVs and mobile devices,” the company says.
Vitec will also highlight a host of enhancements to its line-up, including the new recording capabilities of its 4K HDMI MGW Diamond-H encoder. In line with Vitec’s sustainability commitment, the MGW Diamond-H now provides power consumption information for users, demonstrating its low power consumption per channel.
Vitec’s ChannelLink IP-to-IP Gateway solution now offers automatic IP channel failover for uninterrupted service, and supports RIST main profiles for interoperability with IP feeds. Additionally, the high-density, managed Diamond C10 chassis now supports the MGW Ace Decoder OG cards and features an enhanced web interface for improved usability.
With the Vitec EP6 end-point supporting a new Multiview feature, up to four videos can be played simultaneously within TVM, “making it ideal for mission-critical monitoring, source reviewing and sports footage analysis.”
The latest version of Vitec’s PRISM transcoder, version 7.2, adds support for MPEG-DASH, further expanding streaming capabilities for both public and private distribution through Akamai CDN and Microsoft IIS integration.
Rounding out Vitec’s show offering is Avedia Platform v11, which boasts “an intuitive interface for crafting engaging content and interactive user experiences, along with a suite of applications tailored to meet all IP video and digital signage needs,” Vitec says.
