NAB Show: Audinate To Bridge Gap Between Broadcast & AV

As the future of media production brings broadcast and AV technologies closer together, Audinate Group Ltd., the pioneer behind Dante AVoIP, is set to demonstrate how the Dante platform is advancing audio and video with broadcast-grade standards and performance, ensuring seamless product interoperability and control.

At the NAB Show (April 6-9, Las Vegas Convention Center), Audinate aims to “embrace the growing accessibility of broadcast technology and its seamless integration with AV markets, recognizing the growing importance of video production in sectors such as corporate, higher education, and houses of worship.”

N127 can explore the latest advancements empowering broadcasters to embrace the future of IP-based production, cloud workflows, and remote events. The Dante platform “integrates best-in-class audio, video, control, and management features, delivering seamless interoperability, cost-efficiency, and scalability across thousands of products from more than 600 manufacturers,” the company says. As the convergence of broadcast and IT technologies becomes a reality, broadcasters are increasingly adopting IP-based solutions to meet the demands of modern audiences.

“The future of broadcast is inseparable from the advancements in AV technology,” said Joshua Rush, Audinate chief marketing officer. “At NAB 2025, we’re excited to show how Dante is enabling broadcasters, both large and small, to embrace IP-based workflows, reduce infrastructure costs, and deliver immersive experiences — whether on prem, on location, or in the cloud.”

Show floor demos include:

Dante Connect — Dante Connect facilitates cloud-based broadcast production and is frequently used in broadcast to support flexible production environments, including remote production options for on-air talent, adoption of new translation and localization services, and more. Customers can leverage a growing list of applications that support native Dante audio in cloud-based production workflows, including Calrec, Gallery Sienna, LAWO, SSL, and the Telos Alliance. Visitors to the booth will get to see firsthand how Dante Connect works seamlessly with Calrec Impulse V. Additionally, because integration with XY panels is important to broadcast engineers, visitors can see a demonstration of the Dante Managed API to build buttons for quick and easy signal patching.

Dante Connect includes WebRTC-powered remote contribution and monitoring functionality, adding new low-bandwidth options to existing uncompressed Dante audio transport streams.

Dante AV — Dante AV brings audio and video together on a single, streamlined platform, making production workflows more efficient and intuitive. Visitors will experience high-quality, cost-effective solutions, from the premium performance of Dante AV Ultra to flexible, budget-friendly options like Dante AV-H and software-based tools. Audinate will also showcase the power of the Dante Managed API, enabling automated routing for effortless operation — even for non-technical users like volunteers.

Visitors will see firsthand how Dante audio devices seamlessly interoperate with SMPTE 2110 and AES67 systems, ensuring smooth integration with broadcast and professional AV workflows while maintaining Dante’s hallmark ease of use and reliability.

Dante Virtual Soundcard Pro  Dante Virtual Soundcard Pro expands channel capacity and enhances connectivity, supporting up to 128×128 channels at 96kHz with 64 Dante flows for greater flexibility. Its Virtual Machine Install feature simplifies the shift to virtualization, reducing hardware dependencies and ensuring seamless scalability, while enhanced clocking and expanded latency options provide greater reliability for complex audio networks.

Dante Director — Dante Director is a cloud-based SaaS tool that enables the organization and management of Dante networks. It gives users secure control of the network devices they need while restricting access and visibility to only necessary components. Visitors to the booth will see how to build out custom control surfaces and monitoring tools with the Dante Managed API, enabled by Dante Director.

Dante AVIO — The latest addition to the Dante AVIO line, the innovative Dante AVIO Install series, was recently launched at ISE. This new series features Euroblock analog audio connectors, ensuring seamless integration with installed analog audio equipment. Additionally, it includes the Dante AVIO ClickGrid mounting system, offering flexible mounting options for racks, posts, and under-table configurations. This means broadcasters can now deploy Dante connectivity quickly and efficiently while maintaining a clutter-free install.
