Butch Lee apparent winner in Brandon mayoral race

BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – Incumbent Mayor Butch Lee is the apparent winner in the Brandon mayoral election.

Lee defeated challenger Rep. Fred Shanks on Tuesday, April 1.

According to the unofficial results, Lee received 2,744 votes, and Shanks received 1,340 votes.
