Bassmaster Open anglers begin check-in Wednesday; tournament Thurday-Saturday

Starting Wednesday, more than 230 anglers will participate in the St. Croix Bassmaster Open on Norfork Lake, held at Buzzard Roost Boat Dock.
Hank Weldon, a representative of the Bassmaster Open, spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits, and The Boot News and said they are excited to return to northern Arkansas.

This isn’t the first time a Bassmaster event has been held on Norfork Lake. Weldon says the last time the Bassmaster Open was held here was in 2007.

Anglers will have a full schedule each day of the tournament.

With the chance of severe weather, Weldon says they are keeping a close eye to keep anglers safe.

Anglers will begin checking in Wednesday at ASU-Mountain Home. A livestream of the weigh-ins each day will be available at bassmaster.com.
