VOTER GUIDE: 2025 Consolidated Election in Northern Illinois

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Illinois Consolidated Election will be held on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025.

There are several mayoral and village president races in Rockford, Belvidere, Freeport, Machesney Park, Poplar Grove, Pecatonica, and more, along with numerous aldermen, trustees, and board members.

Polling places in Illinois are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Illinois does not require registered voters to provide a photo ID at their polling place. However, if an election judge challenges a person’s right to vote, a form of ID is needed, one containing the voter’s current address.

Two forms of ID are required when registering in person.
