State Police in Mercer County say that on March 27, a small black sedan stopped in front of an Amish man in a buggy, and a man pointed a firearm at them. The suspect demanded the victim’s wallet and fled the scene.
While State Police were at the scene, they learned of a similar incident involving a second buggy. A second victim reported a small black sedan driving beside them, demanding the buggy be stopped and the victim’s wallet turned over.
The second victim did not give up his wallet, and the suspect drove away.
Both victims described the suspect as a man wearing dark clothing and a medical mask. The second victim said a second person was inside the vehicle but could not provide a description.
Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police.
