Jeremy Black, 51, of Harvey, La., is charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics after a traffic stop Tuesday, March 25.
During the stop, an open-air sniff with a Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office police dog was conducted, and a resulting search found over 2.1 kilos, or 4.6 lbs., of cocaine in Black’s vehicle, officials said.
Black was booked into the Lafayette Parish jail, where he is being held on $1 million bond, jail records show.
This case remains under investigation.
