As the demand for pediatric therapy grows in the region, the sensory gym will provide a vital resource for children with special needs. It will offer a structured and safe space where children can develop essential communication and motor skills, manage sensory challenges, and foster independence. The gym will also serve as a calming environment, helping children feel more focused, confident, and at ease.
Director of Therapy Services Brittany Martin says “We are so grateful for the generous financial support from the Kiwanis Club of Harrison at such an important time. The expansion of our Pediatric Therapy Services is necessary to meet the growing needs of children in our region. With this gift from the Kiwanis Club, we will be able to create a space that will positively impact the lives of countless children and their families. This partnership demonstrates the importance of community-based philantrhopy in advancing local healthcare initiatives.”
Kiwanis Club President Kyle Evatt says “The Harrison Kiwanis Club is extremely excited to be partnering with NARMC to provide essentail services to youth in our community. This Sensory Gym Project is a perfect example of the vision of Kiwanis. Kiwanis will be a positive influence in communities worldwide, so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.”
The partnership reflect the shared commitment to improving the health and well-being of children in the region. The sensory gym will help fill a critical need in the community.
