International Transgender Day of Visibility observed in Delaware County

MEDIA, Pa. (WPHL) — In observance of International Transgender Day of Visibility, Delaware County had its first ever trans march and trans flag raising ceremony.

On Sunday, participants marched through Media and raised the transgender flag at the Delaware County Courthouse.

Monday, March 31, is International Transgender Day of Visibility, which celebrates the lives and contributions of transgender people and raises awareness of the challenges the community faces.
