IMPD: Man shows up at hospital after being shot on near west side

INDIANAPOLIS – A man arrived at an area hospital Monday night after being shot on the near west side.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to IU Health Methodist Hospital after a person showed up there with gunshot wounds.

In a Tuesday morning update, IMPD said the shooting took place in the 1100 block of N. Tibbs Avenue. Police didn’t disclose the extent of the man’s injuries.
