One of these two suspected tornados landed in Midland City. This is in Dale County, just north of the Houston-Dale County line.
The footage below, shot by Kristin David, shows the suspected tornado touching down next to a small neighborhood.
There have been reports of wind damage with trees and power lines down in Dale County around County Road 67, County Road 14, Highway 123 and County Road 134.
There was structural damage to a shed on County Road 59 north of Midland City. The brunt of the damage to the Wiregrass, however, came when the second suspected tornado touched down in downtown Dothan.
Dothan Preparatory Academy was heavily damaged. Parts of the roof was ripped off, and trees surrounding the campus were uprooted.
Five students sustained minor injuries when the storm hit the school. Two of the students were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The other three students did not have to be transported and were treated on the scene.
