After strong storms rolled through Chicagoland
It’ll remain cool on Monday, with early-morning temperatures ranging in the 30s and wind chills in the 20s due to a northwest wind.
The wind will continue out of the northwest Monday, with gusts up to 20 miles per hour and high temps in the mid-40s. Clouds will slowly decrease into the afternoon, and it’ll also remain dry.
Tuesday calls for similarly cool conditions, with cloudy skies, then another chance for severe weather moves into Chicagoland early Wednesday into Wednesday afternoon.

Looking ahead
The potential for severe weather early Wednesday into Wednesday afternoon is fairly high at this point, as we’re already under a Level 3 threat for severe weather that day.
As of now, radar shows storms moving in early Wednesday and rolling out of the area by the afternoon.
It’ll also get pretty warm on Wednesday, with highs in the upper 60s, before seasonal temps in the 50s take over for the latter part of the week.
We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the potential for severe weather as Wednesday approaches.
