By rssfeeds-admin MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (FOX 56) — Less than 24 hours after authorities announced the arrest of two people on Saturday on child abuse charges in Middlesboro, a couple was arrested on Sunday in connection with a separate child abuse investigation.
On Sunday, the Middlesboro Police Department announced in a news release that Ricky North and Nichole North were arrested and charged with first-degree criminal abuse, tampering with physical evidence, first-degree strangulation, and failure to report child dependent neglect – first offense.
Ricky and Nichole were both lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
The child abuse investigation remains ongoing.
