Art in Bloom returns to New Orleans Museum of Art, celebrates French gardens

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — One of the ways New Orleans knows spring has sprung is with the New Orleans Museum of Art’s annual fundraiser, Art in Bloom.

It’s of the most anticipated springtime events in New Orleans. The theme for the 2025 event is “Les Jardins de la Nouvelle-Orléans.”

It began with a procession of flowers and greenery as hundreds of designers, representing local businesses, frantically entered through the doors at the New Orleans Museum of Art.

“Art in Bloom is really this exciting moment where you get to see these incredible flower installations that last for just a few days,” said Marketing and Communications Director at NOMA Charlie Tatum .

The Art in Bloom event is an annual fundraiser to support both NOMA and the Garden Study Club of New Orleans.

Art in Bloom presented by First Horizon Bank, showcased spectacular floral designs created by garden clubs, floral designers, and creative talents from New Orleans and beyond.

The event is held at the beginning of each spring season.
