The Indivisible Chicago Alliance is hosting the rally from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Federal Plaza, 230 South Dearborn Street.
“Trans Day of Visibility is a time to celebrate the strength, resilience and accomplishments of transgender and nonbinary individuals,” the organization says on its website. “This year, we’re taking action early and gathering to demand visibility, justice and equality.”
Organizers say Sunday’s rally will include speakers and “A March for Justice” to protest executive orders from the Trump Administration they say “have targeted transgender and nonbinary people with hate-filled policies, executive orders and disinformation.”
For anyone planning to attend the rally, there is the potential for strong to severe storms in the Chicagoland area later Sunday. Click HERE for forecast details and updates on the timing and location of storms.
