21st Judicial District voters send 2 juvenile court judge candidates to runoff
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The race for a new juvenile court judge for the 21st Judicial District Court heads to a runoff, according to complete but unofficial results on the Louisiana Secretary of State’s website.
Candidates headed to runoff:
Jenny Richardson Fore (Republican): 13,328 votes
Jessica Ledet (Republican): 8,727 votes
The race heads to a runoff on May 3 after voters in Livingston, St. Helena, and Tangipahoa parishes went to the polls on Saturday, March 29. The runoff will determine the new judge for Division I, a juvenile court within the district court system currently held by Judge Mary C. Devereux.
