Camp Organizer Brittani Coker, a lifelong basketball enthusiast, shared her passion for the camp. “My goal for hosting this camp has always been to pour into the kids of our community — to show them that our beautiful small town is behind them and to give them a positive environment to hone their skills in the craft I fell in love with as a little girl,” she said. “My Daddy put a basketball in my hand before I could even walk and my love for the game has never wavered. It is because of him that I know it is my responsibility to pay that love forward every chance I get.”
She added, “Last year, we were fortunate enough to host 95 campers from all over the county and had over 60 local businesses and community members contribute to camp in one way or another. Every single penny of the registration fee for this camp is 100% put back into these children in some way.”
All participants fully registered by July 12 will receive a brand-new basketball to take home at the end of the camp. In addition, tax-deductible donations are being accepted to provide water and snacks for campers.
Those interested in registering can email ballinbballcamp@gmail.com for more information. Payment is due at the time of registration to secure a spot. For updates, follow the 3rd Annual Ballin’ Like A Bulldog Youth Skills Camp 2025 Facebook event page.
