“The Dome is located in such a great spot in between Louisville and Bardstown, we have attracted both locals and guests from all over the US and beyond. Guests have loved the unique space as well as the privacy of our location. It is a great place to relax and unplug, while still having some of those modern comforts that a home provides,” My Old Kentucky Dome said.

Designed as a glamping experience, My Old Kentucky Dome has cracked the top 10% of all homes on Airbnb globally. It has 145 reviews on Airbnb with a nearly perfect rating of 4.99.

My Old Kentucky Dome is catching the attention of travelers looking for a getaway, Lisa Cohen, with Airbnb, said.

The catch is the booking. If you want to book this stay, you might need to do some planning. At the moment of writing this story, the next available stay is in May, and you won’t be spending Derby weekend there.

My Kentucky Dome is described as a geodesic dome on a private road overlooking “the most beautiful countryside views in Kentucky.”

“The incredible view at the dome has been one of our favorite spots for years, when we purchased the land we knew the view was there. We just had to take some trees down to see it. The goal was to create a space just as special as the view. The idea started over coffee one morning, and then fast forward to today, we are booked out almost every month! It has been incredible being able to share it with others,” My Old Kentucky Dome told FOX 56 News.
