School District of Philadelphia facing financial crisis

On Thursday, the School District of Philadelphia unveiled its $4.6 billion budget for the upcoming fiscal year, but school leaders said the district is facing a financial crisis. To try and stop potential layoffs in the classroom, the superintendent said the district will have to dip into its reserves. PHL17’s Alyssa Cristelli reports.
