President Trump took to Truth Social earlier today to provide a preemptive endorsement of Congressman Scott Perry, who currently represents Pennsylvania’s 10th congressional district.

“Congressman Scott Perry is a tremendous Representative for the Great People of Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District,” President Trump shared on Truth Social. “A retired Army Brigadier General, Scott is a MAGA Warrior, who always puts AMERICA FIRST. Scott is working tirelessly with me to Secure the Border, Stop Migrant Crime, Grow our Economy, Strengthen our Military and Veterans, Uphold the Rule of Law, Protect our always under siege Second Amendment, and Restore PEACE THROUGH STRENGHT.”

President Trump continues saying “An original Member of my Pennsylvania Federal Leadership Team, Scott Perry has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election – HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

This endorsement from President Trump comes on the heels of Perry’s reelection last November, where he narrowly defeated Democrat challenger and former television anchor Janelle Stelson.

Most recently during a town hall on Wednesday, March 19, Janelle Stelson announced that she was “seriously considering” a second run for Congress against Scott Perry (PA-10).

Stelson lost to Perry by about 5,100 votes in 2024, which was the closest a Democratic challenger has ever come to unseating the longtime Republican incumbent.
