The good news for basketball fans is tickets are still available on Ticketmaster. Some of the cheapest seats are just $6 in the upper level of Legacy Arena with dozens of options still left for $20 or less.
If you want to be closer to the action, there are fewer seats available, and you’ll be paying a pretty penny. One pair of tickets is available for Friday right behind the visitors’ bench for $333.
BJCC CEO Tad Snider says ticket sales have been strong for the NCAAW Sweet Sixteen.
“The way the NCAA kind of repositioned the women’s tournament, there’s just two regional tournaments. We have Birmingham and Washington, Seattle,” Snider said. “The ticket pace in Birmingham is better than it is on the West Coast, we’re proud of that, says a lot about the region, destination and interest in basketball.”
Tickets for the Sweet Sixteen are sold by session so one ticket for Friday will get you into both games at Legacy Arena and the same goes for a Saturday ticket.
