BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two male juveniles were shot at around 7 a.m. Thursday in Gonzales.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victims “were exiting their driveway when another subject approached them and opened fire” on Prairie South Road.
APSO said their injuries were non-life-threatening and were being treated at the hospital.
The sheriff’s office said a person of interest has been identified and “believe all parties were acquainted.”
