Winning Mega Millions ticket worth $349M sold in Dekalb County

CORTLAND, Ill. — There is a new Mega Millions jackpot winner – and that person bought the winning ticket in Illinois.

Mega Millions announced the winner of the March 25 drawing on their website and said the ticket was purchased at Casey’s General Store in Cortland.

The jackpot is $349 million.

The winning numbers were  1 – 5 – 17 – 39 -62, plus the gold Mega Ball 8. 

 Mega Millions is about to be overhauled with the promise of bigger prizes, better odds and faster-growing jackpots — if you don’t mind paying a higher ticket price.
