ROBERT, La. (WGNO) — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after “dozens” of shots were reportedly fired in a Robert subdivision on early Tuesday morning, March 25.
According to the TPSO, the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. in the Gemstone Place subdivision off of Highway 445.
TPSO deputies said an investigation shows that over 20 rounds were fired from a semi-automatic rifle out of a silver four-door sedan, thought to be a newer model Nissan Altima.
Nobody was injured in the shooting, but an occupied home and a vehicle were hit.
