Showers arrive late Friday, as a complex of storms move into Louisiana from the west. Some heavy rain could be seen at times late Friday into early Saturday morning. The potential for widespread showers and thunderstorms remains high for Saturday.
A marginal risk for excessive rainfall has been issued for SE LA on Saturday. Some spots may see a flash flood threat. Expect a brief relief from rain on Sunday with more storms on the way Monday associated with a front passing through.
