Caltrans says Teichert Construction was able to finish debris removal operations on Monday. On Tuesday, they began work on roadway repairs.
Due to the timeliness of the debris removal, Caltrans says drivers can now expect Highway 140 to reopen under one-way traffic control beginning Wednesday at 4 p.m.
One-way traffic will begin from Savage Trading Post to just west of the Ferguson Rock Shed Project. Caltrans is asking motorists to expect five to 10-minute delays or more while they work to open up the remaining lane.
