National Nutrition Month: Prepped by Carly makes eating healthy easier
March is National Nutrition month, which is an annual campaign by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The theme for 2025 is ” Food Connects Us”, and the goal each year is to encourage people to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthy eating and physical activity habits. Carly Foglia,
registered dietician and owner of “Prepped by Carly”, joined us in the PHL17 kitchen to tell us about her business and talk about the importance of meal prepping and eating your nutrients.

“I think nutrition is the best way to prevent any sort of disease and we all have to eat ” says Foglia.

According to her website, “While being an advocate for healthy eating and physical activity, I believe in indulging as well. I take pride in helping you adjust to new behavioral changes customized to your personal needs that work for you. In 2016, I decided to begin putting some concrete education behind this passion. Today,  I am a three time West Chester University graduate. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2019 and Master’s Degree in Community Nutrition in 2020. Finally went on to finish my Dietetic Internship and passed the Commission of Dietetics Registration Board Exam in 2021 and officially became a Registered Dietitian.”
