Tuesday afternoon’s abundantly blue skies will turn cloudy as the evening progresses. Most of Chicagoland will remain dry but some areas may see a light rain shower. Look for temperatures to bottom out at about 30 degrees.
Overcast skies will linger early Wednesday morning, but skies will gradually clear by/during the afternoon with temperatures returning to the 50s away from the lake. A lake breeze will keep temperatures in the 40s near Lake Michigan.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Increasing cloudiness, not quite as chilly. Slight chance of a shower in Thursday’s predawn hours. Winds veer around to the south late. Low: 37.

Rain chances will come and go beginning Thursday and into the coming weekend, but a noteworthy warm-up brings another day of 70 degree warmth Friday, the fourth such day of the month at Midway Airport.
10-day temperature anomaly forecast: The milder than normal trend will continue into the coming weekend before a return to below normal readings to close out March and the opening few days of April.
