$349 million Mega Millions winning ticket sold at Cortland store

CORTLAND, Ill. (WTVO) — A $349 million winning Mega Millions Illinois Lottery ticket was sold at a Casey’s General Store in Cortland.

The winning ticket matched all five numbers and the Mega Ball 1-5-17-39-62-8 to score the $349 million prize.

The Casey’s store, at 70 S. Somonauk Road, will receive a cash bonus of $500,000 for selling the ticket.

The winner has one year to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages all lucky winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize.
