Woman pleads guilty in connection with deadly Pulaski County moped crash

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — The case against a woman charged in connection with a deadly moped crash in Pulaski County is moving forward.

In October, then-19-year-old Kayleigh Dismuke was driving on US Highway 27 when she hit a moped driven by 31-year-old Dino Collins of Cincinnati.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Today in court, Dismuke pleaded guilty to one count of manslaughter and two DUI charges.

She also waived her right to trial by jury and was sentenced to seven years behind bars.
