39-year-old Danielle Baxter was arrested and charged with the murder of her husband, 38-year-old, Jordan Baxter.
Police say, Danielle, who is a mother of three, had killed Jordan in their home on the 800 block of Bells Mill Road, and then left him lying on a plastic tarp outside their home.
Danielle had also reportedly tried to cover up her tracks but the investigation ultimately led to her arrest.
Jordan was a SEPTA engineer for 14 years.
When police arrived, they located Jordan’s body on a plastic sheet parked between two cars in the driveway. A gun was reportedly lying on his chest. Reports state, he had a gunshot wound to the back of the head, and police had found blood on the mattress inside the home.
At this time, police have not released the motive for the murder.
There was no immediate word on a motive for the murder.
According to court documents, Danielle is currently at the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center. She is being charged with Murder, Possession of an Instrument Of Crime, Abuse of a Corpse, and Tampering with/ Fabricating Physical Evidence.
Reports state Danielle will have another court hearing in a couple of weeks.
