State Police announce passing of K9 who seized  million in cash, drugs
(WHTM) — Pennsylvania State Police announced the passing of a retired K9 who seized $45 million in contraband throughout his career.

Police announced the passing of retired K9 Zigi in a post on X. Zigi showed immense success during his time with the force, earning the respect of police and the community alike.

According to police, Zigi’s searches yielded approximately $45 million in cash and drug seizures.

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of retired PSP K9 Zigi. Throughout his career, Zigi’s searches yielded approximately $45 million in cash and drug seizures. We are forever grateful for his commitment to help protect the Commonwealth,” Pennsylvania State Police said on X.
