The winds are not expected to be as strong as they were last week, but while dry conditions continue, Meteorologist Joe Goudsward of the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says outdoor burning is still discouraged.

Goudsward says the next system of precipitation is expected to hit the area either Thursday or Friday.

When the next system comes in, there is a possibility of thunderstorms. As the temperatures get warmer, residents and visitors tend to spend more time on the water. Goudsward says individuals will need to be mindful of conditions and avoid being on the water when the weather becomes rougher.
