Man critical after Loop stabbing

CHICAGO — A man is in critical condition after a stabbing Monday night in the Loop.

Officers responded to the 100 block of North Clark just before 9:20 p.m. on the report of a stabbing.

Police found a 30-year-old man who was stabbed in the leg and the neck. He was transported to Northwestern in critical condition.

Police believe the man was engaged in a verbal altercation with two male suspects prior to the stabbing.
