Free dentures during Oral Health & Wellness Tour hosted by RAM

WARREN, N.J. (KTAL/KMSS)—The Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corp, also known as RAM, is partnering with Poligrip & Polident and Walmart for their second nationwide Oral Health and Wellness Tour. According to Poligrip & Polident, the tour will provide free dental care to underserved communities across the nation.

The tour will stop in Natchitoches, Louisiana, this summer and provide individuals with an opportunity to receive free dentures.

RAM says patients can take home their new dentures on the same day through the Mobile Digital Denture Lab.

According to Poligrip & Polident, nearly 69 million adults in the United States do not have dental coverage. It’s why the tour has added three additional stops this year. The mobile denture lab will make 15 tour stops, providing complete dental services through the 3-bay dental trailer.

Poligrip & Polident says the Mobile Denture Unit will set up shop in Walmart parking lots across the country and provide people with the chance to receive custom 3D dentures from RAM using their state-of-the-art technology.

The stop in Natchitoches will take place the weekend of July 19 – 20 at the Walmart Supercenter at 925 Keyser Ave.

The tour stop will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. on both days.

According to RAM’s website, all services provided at the clinic are free and they are on a first-come, first-served basis.
